Re: Manifold Company Thoughts
i know the stigma and understand the risks in saying this, but i have had excellent luck buying from Josh and Corey. Nothing has been delivered late and everything has performed perfectly....i know it's blasphemy, but there it is...i said it

Re: Manifold Company Thoughts
The situation with KRB, SLS, ccFab, and so many others is what has kept us out of the maniold business. It seems like every week in the budget turbo world a new "company" pops up and starts making manifolds out of their mom's basement, or dad's carport, and it always follows the same storyline.
They undercut everyone else on pricing.
They take a ton of orders.
They get behind.
They start taking longer and longer to ship.
They start getting hated on in forums.
They respond unprofessionally or not at all.
They disappear, leaving a bunch of folks without refunds or product.
These "pop-up" comjpanies are able to exist because so many people only see price. Even if they don't set out to rip people off, it sometimes happens. Look at SSAutoShit, they are still around, making tons of money, becuase many folks only see price. If every one of their customers were able to go back and change their eBay Feedback rating, they would be out of business.
We want to be able to offer our own line of manifolds at some point, and have talked with many of these companies of the years about making them for us. We talked to KRB, we talked to JG, we talkled to "Steve's guy in Tucson", to PeakBoost, to Full Race, etc, etc. Everyone fell into two categories, they were either flakey, or overpriced. Seems like there is no middle ground.
(We never talked to ccFab, due to Hotrex's Shipping Baron practices, no offense Josh, just being honest.)
Go with Arizona Forced Induction. Jesse and Andy are local to us here, and we've talked with them at length about making manifolds for us. They are not a "pop-up" company, they have been making manifolds for years now, although not always under the AFI name. When we do announce our own line of manifolds, we are 95% sure that AFI will be making them.
Okay, I'm done,
Craig

Re: Manifold Company Thoughts
do yourself a favor man and check out JGS tools(u may have to do a search to find their exact site, it might be www.JGStools.com)...they have kits that come in different stages, to make ur own manifold with...they DO NOT offer completely finished manifolds(at least I don't think they do), but as long as you know SOMEONE who can weld, it shouldn't be a problem getting ur manifold finished...their prices are ALOT more reasonable than ALOT of the other companies I've seen...peace
