mani & turbo combination

ive heard that you can use a greddy manifold with a td05-14b turbo and keep the a/c. i was wondering if there is any truth to this? anyone done this personally? thanks

i thought GReddy kit only use 15g turbo?

i think i remember someone having made a greddy to 14b adapter plate, but i'm not sure

Depends on what kit the car was for. D series have 16g's, and B series have 18g's.

i think the greddy d-kit comes with a 15g, and either way, i dont think they have the standard dsm flange, do they?

sorry for the lack of detail, yes, the d-series greddy turbo uses the 15g or 19t. theres an adapter plate that goes between the manifold and the turbo. its a 96 y8 motor. i was just curious if itd clear a/c because it sits pretty high unlike the hf manifold. thanks

i know for a fact the mitsubishi turbo wont bolt straight up to a sohc greddy manifold. you can have a plate made to mate them but thats about it! yes, the greddy comes with a td04-15g turbo based off of dsm turbos but the flange is almost exactly like a standard t3 but smaller from all sides. i dont know if a/c will still be allowed??

i hooked up the greddy manifold with the BMC Racing adapter with the 14b turbo. it cleara a/c !! only thing that had to be done was to shave the block a bit but it doesnt hurt anything. unfortunally, the turbo is bad so i have to get aonther one.
