Default making a t28 turbo

hey all

ok im starting to do my own turbo kit for my crx, and learngin to do rebuilds and stuff like that.

i was thinking the other day that i had a t3 sitting arround (in pieces) and a t25 on its way to be used on my car

i was wondering what it take to make a t28 turbo. im pretty sure im right in thinking the t28 is a t25 turbine and a t3 compressor.
so would i just swap out the compressor wheel, back plate, and the housing? or is it more then that? thanks for any help

the shaft clearance has to be perfect. also u will need to send it in to get re balanced because it could be a mile off when u do stuff like this.

ha its phizzy from honda tech. sup

no u need to rebalance any time u take the wheels off (if you dont mark the turbine and shaft!)

the balancing is done by taking small amounts of metal off either of the turbines. usually under neath em

Oh right, and you'll have to take the "inner section" of the housign off, to mate the new housing up... I gotcha, neccesitating taking off the wheels....
