Got another update on my car...

Finished up building my gauge panel, and got it mounted. It is mostly wired, but needs 2 sensor wires hooked up, and then hook up the light and gauge power runs to my fuse panel.
I have the engine bay all wired up and all of my sensors for the engine management are installed. Wires are routed pretty well in the engine bay and aren't too disruptive.

Still have to run all of my switches and LED's in the gauge panel, and I will need to do a TON of wire cleanup and looming in the cabin, but it is getting there slowly.

Don't have many pictures of the whole car that aren't like 4 years old. It has been stuck in one garage or another for the last few years.

Hopefully it will get moving under it's own power soon and I can clean it up and take some pics of the car again.

Just your every day old *** accord hatch on the outside. Nothing special ;-)

Alright, got the car running and idling okay. But it is still pretty rough and we are going to have a lot of work to do even just to get no load part throttle to work right. Does anybody have a decent TEC-GT or TEC3r basemap for a honda. It is probably close enough for me to run it and drive the car under it's own power.

I fixed my wideband gauge that wasn't powered up, so today I should have an actual clue what the AFR's are up to. Just need more practice and experience with the engine management now. So I think at this point it will be the long road or figuring this tuning out.

I can't wait though, when it warmed up enough and idled at 1500 rpm it was so smoother the car didn't shake at all, even with window weld mounts.

More updates later if I get it running a bit better.

Okay here is...

By now we have the no load tune a bit closer, and next thing will be to get it insured again and go cruise around and get some loaded tuning done and see where it goes.

More later when we get the tune a bit closer and get some road tuning done!

Everything looks great, except the TB and FPR. Sorry, but one is crappy the other is not better than stock.

I never understood why people went with Electromotive products. So expensive, and it has less features than going OBD1.

Sorry to be a negative nancy, but it's what I'm good at. Despite all of that your car SHOULD be front page! It really does look great.

Yeah I gotta agree about the FPR . I don't how how useful the TB will be in making power, I know plenty of people make big power on stock throttle bodies for sure. But when I upgraded to the B16 manifold it was pretty inexpensive (AEBS) so I had some cash sitting around for the throttle body. I am happy with it but you may be right that it isn't necessarily helping my cause.

As for the Electromotive, I have always liked their stuff and with the TEC-GT it seemed a little easier to work with so I decided to give it a shot. I dunno what you mean about less features, because I don't fully know the ins and outs of OBD1 (my car sure didn't have it). But I know the system is very very capable and I trust their ignition setup much more than a distributor, especially a vacuum advance distributor like my car came with.

Hopefully front page will come when I get the tune finished up and actually slap all my turbo hardware on the car. Just NA on HMT doesn't really make sense. But don't worry its coming right along!
