Default Made a Kit for the D15.

Y7 head/ B7 block 10.1:1 comp.
Shot rings, 160k. POS temporary motor.
Heres what the kit consists of.

Non intercooled for now.
2.5 inch charge piping.
2.5 inch downpipe and exhaust.
T3 .60/.63 from a Nissan.
2g DSM bov (JBweld kept cracking and leaking. Used plastic epoxy and its much better now)
Home Depot couplers.
Uberdata base map a friend made for me.
Y7 mani cut with a plate welded to it, then turbo WELDED to the plate.
Turbo spools up really late. Around 4500 in 1st, 2nd. About 4300 in 3rd, 4th and 5th.
Boost hits 5 psi immediately and within 500-1000 rpm settles at 7 psi.

I guess the power is decent.
Future plans are a small IC and DSM 450's with a new uberdata map.
And getting a b7 block with new rings soon for free.

Ill try to get pics up soon.

I learned a lot here. Thanks for all the help.

Are you sure your wastegate is fully closed when the turbo isnt spinning? You may want to try the carb return spring wastegate mod, i have done it and get a full 5 psi by 2000rpms. It may be u have a bigger turbo though, i have an IHI RHB5.

The wastegate flapper is definately being held open all the time.
The WG I got didnt come with my turbo, but its for a t3.
And it fit, somewhat.
I dont mind waiting for boost at all really, One I get past 4500 in 1st I just full throttle shift every gear and never fall off boost.

I have read about the carb return spring, it sounds good.
But I havent read enough about it to try it.

Thanks for the info.

that t3 .60/.63 is a ------- monster compared to your rhb5.

rhb5 is smaller than a T3 .42/.48
