looking at running a 160 stat in my boosted single cam, is it worth doing to control detination, or shouldnt i worry thnx guys
ZC head, z6 head gasket, srp's 9.5, eagle rods,HF mani, 13g, 26x6x2.5 fmic.

 

13g time to get a real turbo and up the boost to the nog level.

 

Go all out and run no thermostat.

 

160 thermostat is good stuff. Do it for sure. I know jacksonracing has one. I don't know how much they charge. I'm sure you could get one a your local autoparts store cheaper. I got my 170 tstat and 16psi radiator cap at koi.

I had to raise the cold revlimit on my car because the combo of the cap, tstat, water wetter, and distilled water worked too well. I'll probably change to 50/50 and see if it gets a little warmer.

 

180 t-stat in northern regions of the country is always ideal
