Default Low Voltage, HORRIBLE idle, new alternator and battery help

ok i got my turbo installed on saturday may 14th and during that time i got a new 130 amp alternator installed. i got a new belt for it, and everything is hooked up correctly. Sunday the 15th i got a new battery from pep boys.

I am currently using these vafc settings (http://www.boostmachines.com/Rides/c...fcsettings.htm) its running pretty good, but when my car first starts it is fine, idles fine, volts are at 14.1v everything is good.

After i start to drive for about 10 minutes, my engine is warmed up, my volts go straight to ----, its at 12.5, 12.4,12.3,12.2,12.1,12.0 when im at idle, sometimes it goes down to the 11s and my car idle is ---- like 500's, but as soon as i get the tach up to 4k it goes back to 14.1 and whenver i hit the brakes it drops from 14.1 to 13.1, the when i give it gas after i brake it gets up to 14.1, but sometimes it just says at 12.6, 12.5 etc.

I checked all grounds, unhooked my sound system, made sure the vafc was hookup correctly and the apexi turbo timer was all grounded out correctly, I tighten the bolts on the throttle.

im throwing no cels, checked to make sure all the fuses were good, yet still my car does this to me.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH MY CAR!

I'd like to know too.

I'll be sitting there idling, and the A/F will go real low (I suspect because of a voltage-drop) and the revs will go to ~400-500. I havent hooked up a voltmeter yet to confirm this.

i just did a voltimeter test on my alternator and battery, everything was fine when i started the car, but i know it only happens once ive been driving the car for like 5 minutes, so i took it for a spin, and the voltimeter read on my alternator 12.40, but i also im getting my car tuned today ill see if they can figure out what is the matter with it

my car does this too.

I've noticed some weird trends w/ volts on my car. Sometimes @idle its up near 14v. Sometimes down near 12v. (with all acessories off for both). kicking on the high beams and/or AC also drops the volts (as I would expect it to).

During driving acceleration / cruising it varies. I've noticed that when its at 12v and i am cruising as soon as i lift off to decel it jumps to 14v (full charging). I read that that is normal and is done by the ecu to control parastic loses from driving the alt. and engages FULL charing on Decel to be like a regenerative braking/ charging type deal.

I heard at WOT the system is supposed to stop charging as well.

I'd clean up all grounds and then just leave it, as long as its over 12v its fine.

EDIT: after re-reading you post you mention sometimes it dips into the 11;s. mine does this as well. my idle is also weird. Sometimes its perfect @ 700-800rpm steady, 14v. then the next stop light its 400-500 and 12v and all rough and crappy like.

I feel we have the same problems happening w/ our cars.

what I have changed is..

IACV
ECU
Battery
Plugs/Wires/Dist. (replaced as part of maint, but still did NOT correct this particul;ar problem)
removed (stolen ) stereo system.
cleaned battery posts / wire clamps.

i haven't checked the voltage on mine yet but mine drops to about 400-500 while at a stop light sometimes and when i let off the gas the lights will get brighter. think my alternator is going but been to lazy to check it.
