to make yer own endtanks, just measure very carefully, and cut out cardboard and use the cardboard to make a template to cut out on sheets of aluminum.
get it all welded together with a low temp welder and your in business! (for added looks, a wheel shop can polish the tanks up for cheap)

it was tougher making tanks on the audi intercooler cause the tanks arn't a perfect rectange, they kinda angle back in a diamond shape.

here is a pic of the intercooler once the endtanks were finished, damn i miss how clean it was.

and this is another pic similar to the one jeff posted, just showing how it sit in the bumper

i live in canada, so i can't really talk about heat soak very much, all i can say is it keeps the engine cooler than without turbo.

maybe only i gots no money right now for shipping costs. :(

A mig welder is wire fedd. it has a tank ok gas and a gun looking handle with a button on it. A arc welder has a stick which clamps a piece of rod in it and you touch that to the metal and it arc's and welds the rod material on it.

mig welder would be about 500 cdn and arc about 200 cdn ...

you might be able to do it with an arc welder with the right welding rods. Ill check
