Looking for a EBC controller, have a box full of solenoids.

I have a ton of GM boost control solenoids, and a few of the Greddy profec solenoid boxes... Looking for some cheap controller.

Ehh, I have purge solenoids too, but I wouldnt mind a duty cycle type EBC, not a EMBC that the PCS setup is. Basically looking for a megasquirt type boost control, without the ECU attached.

The problem is the EBC is the majority of the price, not the boost solenoid. There is also virtually zero EBC's that are cheaper w/o the solenoid, because rarely do they expect anyone to have a working solenoid by itself.

The other issue is what a stand-alone EBC needs to work. It needs to sense at the very least RPM, boost, and speed. You won't find something with $10 in parts that can do all that.

IMO your best bet is to rig them up like the PCS writeup, they'll work the same. Then you could make a complicated switch system for the shift lever. The easiest way would be to use the shifter as a contact, and set up other contacts in whatever spot it engauges a gear. HMT gear-based boost control.

What kind of tuning software do you use? Ectunes has ebc support, just need the solenoid.

I am sorta upset that the ECU I use supports boost control, just not in the form of a turbo.

Ill toss them on ebay.
