Ive Been searching for a new BOV for a while. I was about the buy the leginimate Turbo XS RFL Type H for $170 shipped to my door then came across the ebay knockoffs that appear to be made of cast and basically just a replica of the design

Im ust wonderring if there is gonna be any difference in the REAL one sounding/performing better

I did some research and a few people said the legit one sounds amazing, no feedback on the fakie


I will be running about 15-18psi

 

I ran that exact knock off and it worked great. Very loud though.

 

Yeah, I cant see how they would be made differently, being as they are both true valve/piston blow off valves, but I didnt know if the other would be more effiecient or produce a better sound than the other

 

Or whatabout this one with dual horn, there only $40 shipped on ebay

 

I have used both and they worked flawless.The single horn like CS said is loud and the dual is to loud.Really any China BOV will work fine and i last used the SSauto Tial 50mm knockoff which was ****.

The Dual horn is actually louder than the single? I figured it might actually be quiter

 

its louder, they both work good, a local with a dsm pushing 18 psi has a single horn one and its pretty damn loud, never gave him a problem

 

Mine was only at 8 psi when I got my kit together and it blew off and I had to think about. Yeah that loud.

 

Maybe its cause Im running open downpipe that I dont think its "that" loud
