Default leak between turbo sides

My teo4h (setup like a 14b) is leaking around the metal band that hold the hot side to the rest of the turbo. We clocked the housing like we are supose to and drilled new holes for the pins. Well ive only driven this setup for a few days and its smoking like freight train. I can shake the cold side and it seems a little loose. Would this loseness cause the smoke. I took a closed end 10mm and tightened the band as best as i could. Any ideas or do i need a rebuild too? Well i have all winter.

here is a link if you need some visuals

the reason it is probably smoking is b/c u have to much oil pressure going to it try running a needle valve in ur oil feed, and put a guage after it i think u need like 35 psi of oil pressure

well im using the sunpro bpt to npt adapter which has a small hole in it in the first place and 1/4in brake line. Its hard to imagine too much pressure from that.

how did it take a few day before it started smoking. Also, the first time i put in the turbo i started it up with the oil return on the side instead of on the bottom; a few tablespoons of oil came out the exhaust side before i shut it down.
