Default A Large Snail and a b16

I'm not 100% sure what turbo to use on my stock b16.

I want something that won't hit full boost until about 4500-5000 so that I can drive around in vacuum and retain decent gas mileage.

Is a standard t3/t4 .57 trim what I shoudl be looking at?

How about a Nissan .63/.60 t3? .

I will be running 7-9 psi of boost...with a goal of about 220-240 whp

neither one of those turbo's spools really late on a b16, i've used both on a stock b16. the standard .63/.60 would hit full boost around 4k, and the t3/t4 with a .63 exhaust housing hit's full boost around 4500, but it's very easy to stay out of boost, the turbo only spools if you floor it, you can wind the rmp's out at half throttle without building any boost, there has to be a real load on the engine, not just rpm dependant to build boost

Cool thanks for the info.

My brakes are going out and I just splurged on some Hawk HPS pads all around and a GSR rear disc converison so this puts the turbo project on hold for awhile.

It will give me time to find a cheap turbo.
