Which sohc Vtec? d16z6,d16y8, or JDM d15b? What kind of intercooler? There are a lot of variables that come into play on this and no one can tell you exactly. Most of those engines put out about 130 hp stock, so with an efficient turbo at 8psi you can expect about 40-60 more depending on the other factors. Like I said, it's all a rough estimate, your mileage will vary.

The SOHC vtec motor dyno at 100-105whp. So 160whp is a GREAT gain, even though it sounds weak.

i have the d16 y8 and i just decided to go with a different turbo, got any ideas, i wasnt something that will put me around 190 i really dont want to get in to building up the block yet, so now what is a good turbo for a d16y8 that will spool early and go all the way to red line, and what wastegate should i use a external or internal, and if external what kind, tial or delta, thanks guys

A friend of mine has a d16y8 in a 90 CRX and he's running a TD05h-14b on it at 9-12 psi and he really likes the way it pulls. I rode in it before when it was leaking and only boosting like 7 lbs and that's the reason I'm building my own turbo kit I can only imagine how it feels now.
