Default kinked return line

i just installed the td04 turbo on my car and the 2nd day i noticed my return was kinked, before i could get home to fix the turbo start to spit oil out the downpipe. the return was not flowing oil and it just built up in the center, and just shot out the exhaust side. took turbo to get it rebuild BUT guy said i should be fine. i am just worried, anyone had the problem>>?? should i go head and get it rebuild, or just fix the return and go> any help would be great

----, Id say run it with a better return line and see what happens. Its onyl a td04, I have one right now Im running. they are a quality turbo if used right, hell if it eventually goes bad put money into something better, get a td05 or big 16g.

well if you already ordered the new return put it on and see, I had a too small return line on my very first kit and it killed the turbo very quickly.

Bolt the turbo back on and fix the return line. Make sure the return line has at least a 1/2" inner diameter for a good flow. If the turbo smokes afterwards then you should rebuild it.

If you want to nickel/dime it you can use a heater hose that's already preformed with a 90 deg. bend. or you can stretch out a throttle return spring off the Help! rack. Then stuff that in your hose to prevent kinks.
