Default keep internal wg housing?

i have a t3 with setup for an internal wg. I was wondering if it would be better just to make a dp with the flange that blocks off the wg hole, or to use the external wg housing and weld the lil flapper shut, and just use the 3 bolt flange. I'm sure its all preferance and dosn't matter either way but i would like to iknow. thanks

that would be a lot more work than just buying a 5 bolt flange, even though getting the flange has been hell for me since I have the bigger t3 mercedes style.. it is still better than using the internal housing.

i also have the larger t3 5 bolt pattern, couldnt get a flange anywhere, it has to be custom made, you can have someone water jet it, or i made mine with a plasma cutter and about 3 hours on the grinder, but you should def. make a 5 bolt flange that blocks off the internal gate opening....
