Default k, my ---- is having a problem...

for those who dont know i have a ghettocharged D16A6. Zdyne SECU Gold, 450cc injectors, new fuel pump (walbro 255HP), and 2 bar MAP. im boostin 10psi on a PM7 FI map.

the problem is when im accelerating, WOT (usually notice it in 3rd pretty well) i get a serious stumble/choke/bog at ~4000rpms. other than that the car hauls ***.
any ideas? thanks...

It could be caused by many things. I was wondering, maybe not enough fuel pressure for that specific rpm for some reason? Dunno, that sounds like a bitch to figure out.

Do you lean out?
Are you rich?
Possibly fuel related?

Dustin it could be so many things.. having us guess whats wrong with your car will not fix it.. You need to do your basic checks.

plugs/cap/rotor

Have the injectors ever been balanced?

What is your timing set at? how many degree per psi are you running? have you tried a different map?

Buy me dinner and I will tell you what is wrong with it..

i will do a cap and rotor soon, the ---- is used/unknown. but i was having the same problem with the ZC.

they where balanced before i got them, wouldnt hurt to do it again soon i guess.

timing? have know ------ clue. running 'stock' Zdyne settings for a FI ZC, with .5 retard. i was running on a FI A6 map the other day, was doing the same thing.

think i will start with the timing and do a cap and rotor...
