i finally turboed my audi and no honda i have met, including the benchmark s2k can stand with me, want some videos?
But I call bullshit. Let's see time slips and dyno sheets.
Either that or you live in one of those towns that just don't have any real honda tuners. Get off your high horse, son....you're not so great.

I didnt read all posts. But as for the initial statement. I kind of have to agree. I was formaly a 1g DSM owner and thoose things are fast right out of the box. I am refering to the DOHC turbo. I now have a 94 civic coupe and though it is nice and I love the parts availability it will never be as fast as my ex dsm. But on anouther note DSM Engines and Trannys suck They always blow and the trannys always start grinding or poping out of gear. But I love them both..
Bottom line...A car is as fast as you make it..Any car with any engine properly built will do whatever you tell it to.

Its a whole lot easier to do get down the strip in under 11 seconds with an all wheel drive car.
Now lets take a 12 second civic matched against an AWD dsm with similar money in the car. The civic owner would probably be 6-8k in for 12 seconds including the car on average, and safe to assume the DSM would be the same or maybe even less. Let them race 100 times. I bet the civic completes more 1/4 mile passes. If an AWD 10 second DSM with minimal cash investment makes it down the track 100 times, he better go buy a lottery ticket, cause he's one lucky SOB.
But, to each their own, drive what you like and respect what others like. We are all here just to have fun. I sure wish you would settle down and have some fun too.
