Default Just boosted.Long post.Lots of pics!

95' GIZZER
My setup:
SVO .60/.63 T3 Internally gated
Custom SS braided feed line from local machinist
TT drain flange
All mandrel bent charge pipes courtasy of JCW and Egay
1st gen dsm BOV
Modified starion I/C
custom d/p
BLOX mani
Vafc
BLACK top 450's
no check valves? need them?
Venom fuel pump
B&M FPR, do i need this? ive had it for like 4 years.
MSD 6BTM
JE 9:01 pistons
Eagle h beam rods
clevite rod and main bearings
total seal rings
egay boost guage
autometer a/f guage

Believe it or not it has taked me a year and a half to get all this ---- together. My car has been down for 3 months and i finally cranked it at about 8am this morning. The dp is not totally sealed with my CAT (will be removing it next week)so it would'nt stay running long due to my o2 still located in it.I set my vafc with the parameters in the FAQ in the e/m forum and it was idaling around 700 rpm.I did manage to let it idle for 20 mins while i checked my oil pressure. After it died (after the 9th time)it wouldnt even turn over.I think i fried my ignition igniter? The battary is completely dead from sitting up so long and i kept having to jump it off.At first i thought i siezed my engine up but i could manually turn the crank and theres absolutly no leaks anywhere and i didnt get any cels.Aparently i hooked the msd up wrong because it would spin over but wouldnt get spark and after i hooked the stock wiring back up it fired right up.I have my internal wg hooked up in the factory location on the comp. and my boost guage and bov hooked into emisions canister, but the guage wasnt reading vaccum.Any constructive critism will be appreciated. I owe hmt for the motivation and inspiration.
Now the pics.

BLOX mani with custom block off plate for internal gate, not to mention the surface rust.

DSM BOV mounted to a pice of no name intake tube i found in my box-o-----.

i thought this piece came out very nice.the welder did all my work "on the side", block off on the mani, modified my endtanks on the i/c,d/p,bov and hes relocating my o/2 all for $150.

a/f and boost

rewired with 10ohm resisters

60/63 this was a great find...yep i just found it

this is the vac source i used for the bov and boost guage,i think its a 2 way check valve.it goes to my evap canister.i havent gotten to drive it yet due to me frying my dizzy, if this is a bad souce please let me know.i was thinking about tapping my pcv hose for them?

vafc mounted in my console.

modified starion

the msd 6btm that i could not hook up right. 4 ------- wires!WTF!

I hope this helps peeps that are starting their setups,it has definatly enlighten me by doing all of it myself(with an exception on the welding).Thats all for now,if anyone has questions of need any more pics you can email me at euronites@aol.com.Now i can start participating in the other forums instead of lurking the classifieds.

Setup sounds good, hopefully you'll get the kinks worked out and take that ---- for a rip. How's the Blox mani? That ---- looks top notch for it's price.

actually i show my car. i didnt this summer though due to the build up that has taken me three months in which it was parked in my car port, where the magic was done.So a better rip would be "your not fond of car covers" but thanks for looking anyways

maybe you need a better vacuum source. what does the guage read at idle? i helped my friend with his lines and we used the cruise control to run his boost guage and BOV.

that vacume source is real good. i use it for my bov, for my wg i hooked up the hose directly to where the pcv goes connected to the top of the intake manifold. i emptied out the pcv valve, glued it back together with jb weld and installed it in it's original location, only now it is hooked upto a catch can. for my boost gauge i Td' the cruise control vac source. if you want to you can replace the brass Ts' on the canister with plastic ones from auto parts. use small hose clamps for all your hoses, i see you don't have them clamped. good job on the install and don't get too crazy w/boost
