Re: just another project :)

my goal was like 180HP, but was not expecting that much torque, anyway TD04-16t will come to play soon :y.
BTW all here at 9PSI
Since I am a newb I have a question: getting new bigger turbo and decreasing boost down to let say 8 PSI thanks to better efficiency of the turbo I should gain some HP and it won't fall on its face that soon, am I correct?

The thing is that here in Poland turboing is still in "FMU age" slowly moving to "piggy backs age" and not many people really know the stuff, those who do they charge like $150 for an hour of tuning (yes, you would become a very rich moving to Poland ;D) so no place to get "know how", except this place so any input appreciated :-* ;)

thanks

yes, you are correct in your idea of a bigger turbo. You want it to fall into the optimum compressor efficiency, and with a larger turbo you are flowing more air at the same psi and is efficient to a higher range, alowing you to make more power at the same levels of boost

they are Ronal, model R10 I guess were available in UPR only but not sure. guy who sold them claimed they are drop-forged and are pretty light I guess: 4,4kg each
here is a better pic
