Junkyard Turbo Wastegate WG Pressures

Re: Junkyard Turbo Wastegate WG Pressures
A little bit of misinformation about starion/conquest turbos.
First of all, its a TD05-12A
up to 87 ran 7 psi, and after that they have 3 port wastegate designed to run 7psi up to 4k rpm and 10psi after that, but you probably won't be able to use the boost solenoid for them, so you won't be able to use this feature.
This is how you should set it up with a MBC
The hose goes to your MBC.
If you don't have a MBC and just have this hose run to the charge pipe, you will get 10psi, if you do the other hose, you will get 7.

86-91 Mazda Rx-7 is 5psi. With a 3" exhaust they'll do 7psi. But the wastegates must be ported with w free flowing exhaust to prevent boost spikes.
