ok i wanna get a post going on stock WG opening pressures. i see alot of newbies posting every day on "what psi does a t25 open at"

so heres our running list.

Garrett T3 42/48 set at - 8psi

Most all chrysler 2.2l turbos w/ the goofy t3 all spool at - 5.5psi-6.5

TD04h (14b) - 8psi

.60/.63 Tbird/meurker/svo - 10psi

RHB5 from the Subaru and Probe - 8psi

84-88 nissan 300z t3 .60ar/.63ex. - 5psi

87-88 rx7 twin scroll turbo - 6.2psi

Mitsu TD04L(WRX) - 7 psi

t25/14b (Mitsu Eclipse) - 8psi

starion 14g Before 1987 - 7psi

starion 1987+ - 11 psi

garret t28 stage 1 - 8.5 psi

garret t28 stage 2 - 10.5psi

garret t28 stage 3 - 15 psi

K26 external – 14psi

Garrett T3 42/48 set at 8psi

GReddy 15g (mitsu td04h-15g) 5.5psi

CT26 (MK3 Supra) - 5psi

TB25 (Garrett, 89 Pontiac Sunbird GT) - 7 psi

IHI VJ20 (JDM Mazda 1.8 GTX) - 8.8 psi

K03 - 4 psi

you probably want to keep this thread clean, so if you delete this that's cool. hopefully someone knows what the chrysler lebaron t3 is set at, if not I'll find out soon enough.

garret t28 stage 3 internal wastegate stock set at 15 psi stage 2 set at 10.5 and stage 1 which i have set at 8.5 psi

the wastegate on my starion is set @ 7psi i think its a 14g, but after 87 they run 11 psi

i doubt this will ever come up but, a 87-88 rx7 twin scroll turbo= 6.2psi

also don't forget there's a couple of IHI rhb5's out there. YOu've got the one from the t-birds and the probe/mx6 and sube loyal.

Im pretty sure the 84-85's ran only 5psi.

When I used a chrylser actuator I always got 6-7 on the nose.

Also, an external Audi gates with one coil cut from the spring is about 7-8 when mounted to the HF mani O2 bung and dumped externally :)

Anyone know about the RHB5 off the old Turbo Isuzu Impulses. I have one and it is bigger than the probe/mx-6 IHI, but I don't know much more than that.

Great Post!!! Anyway I think the 14b internal WG is higher than 8psi from the stock eclipses. Im pretty sure they are around 10-11psi. Someone double check me on that, also what is the internal WG on the Garrett T-25??? LMK

t25 and 14b are both 8psi, when they are on a DSM with the stock EBC, they are around 10-11.

good job, huh I know this a stupid question but I have a airesearch T3 .42/.48 off a mercedes diesel. not sure what year, believe before 90's but, would it be the same PSI as the Garrett T3?

The CT-26 on mkIII Supras opens at 7psi. At least that's what every Supra manual I've ever read says and what everyone on supraforums.com says.

prolly wont need it but the ihi vj20 is 8.8psi (found on the jdm mazda 1.8 gtx motors)
