The new website is great james. However, you almost doubled your prices, what did you expect? -doubling your prices is totally understandable IMO considering this is now your full time job. Everyone wants everything for nothing these days. If you are making money, which you are, I wouldnt worry one bit about it. You double your prices, of course your gonna loose a few clients. Thats practical business. I myself am one who will gladly pay a few bucks for good customer servcice and a warranty, if i were to be in the market for a new manifold, I would go straight to you. :-*

Also to anybody that knows me, if you give me a call, I am always willing to give a better price than what is on the website. The website is there for the people that are just ready to go and buy something right then and there, not for the people that are willing to search for the best price, there are many people here and on honda-tech that will let you know I am more than willing to help someone out with the price if you would just have the time to talk to me in private.

I don't understand. Why the name change? It takes time to build a name people associate with, and it's been awhile with BMC being recognized for what it is, and now it's being changed.

james is a good kid who is trying very hard to do something that i admire... go full out into his own business. it isn't that easy at all i imagine, especially in an over-soaked market with cheap quality off-shore products clogging it up. i can only hope to be doing this stuff in a couple years. james is making every effort to be successful at his passion.

question james: since you are now out on your own, are you having to buy the flanges off your old man?

good luck in your new endevor. ;)

If he wants to charge that much for a log manifold who cares? I mean really the market is so saturated with Honda log manifold builders now that its not like you can't find a decent priced log manifold elsewhere. Let him charge what he wants, but I don't see it being "HMT's new source of turbo manifolds" ;)

BmCrace is now to cover only the cnc machined parts (flanges, adapters, new upcoming rods, etc) while JG-Fab is to cover anything fabricated (manifolds, downpipes, dumtpubes, xmembers, collectors). It really isnt a huge name change, it is just to show the differnce in the 2 companies. We both work in the same shop and help each other out.

Yep I sure do have to buy those flanges from my dad now, that is one reason the price went up alot more, before I got them for next to nothing but now, I gotta pay.

It all boils down to paying for what you get. Yeah IMO the prices are high but it seems like the quality is high also. I mean if you want a cheaper manifold buy a cheaper manifold.

Speaking from experience a lot of people don't recognize all of the hidden costs when running your own business. Especially when your business is your full time job.

Good luck with your business dude. I hope it makes you lots of $$$!

overall I think that is a very good price for all the time and effort that goes into it.
notice we have an actual shop and must pay bills like any other person, it is not an
part time buisness anymore.

HEH; wow... Maybe honda-tech would believe those prices but yea... no... I dont think so.
YEs there are hidden costs but no they're not that high; and if you're bitching about wasting time at the post office order ------- supplies online and use the USPS pickup. It will change your life, I love it. Also you need to find some new suppliers; after shopping around i found mcmaster has some crap prices but man do they have a selection; also welding supplies; if you spend $20 on supplies per manifold you're getting FUCKED hard 2lbs of stailness filler rod at a mom and pop shop costs me $4 and a 250cu argon cylinder cost $40 to fill.
I refused to believe a friend of mine in houston that had done business with you and said you were getting pretty high and mighty but I guess its true. I want to respect you and your efforts but I can't, being in the business i know what goes on and i know MOST ALL of the online vendors of this ---- are making fat proffits.
