Default Jcwhitney charge pipes

hey I saw this stuff on the jcwhitney site and was wondering if it would work for charge pipes. If you used this you wouldn't have to do all the cutting and welding.

I posted the same question on automitive forums but didn't get much feedback so I figured I post here too. What do you guys think?

I'd say go for it. I beleive someone else used it in their setup and ductaped around the joints to prevent leaks. I'm not sure how much pressure that piping would withstand, but I'm sure it will work for you as chargepipes.

I've seen a couple of people try this stuff, but it didn't work very well at all...it leaks from EVERYWHERE...by the time you get the leaks stopped, you've got a pipe made of duct tape!

just get the mandrel bends and cut them to the shape/lengths you need.

yeah why can't you just get the bends you need from jc, cut them down to the size you need and use silicone couplers to hold them together?

From what I've heard I think that you guys are right, I think i'll just get some bends and cut them. Thanks for the input.

I thought about doing that awhile back and was going to just bend it into place and coat the whole thing with a few layers of rubberized undercoating. I think that will work, but the airflow won't be very smooth.
