Aight.. So what do you do when you have a whole shitload of parts just sitting in the garage for your project car and you have a ------ beater..........Boost the beater. Crx isnt getting done anytime soon.

It all started out with a 90 Integra with a Bone stock b20. please excuse the neon green paint all over the motor.. it was like that when i got it and never cared about strippin the paint.. the more ghetto lookin the better right?

My downpipe wouldn't work for ya, i had my turbo the other way 'round. And correction, the tubing cost me 160 not 260.

yeah ... after the motor felt boost, i got a ------ valve tick........ so i go to adjust the valves and ----...i wasnt holding the wrench flat enough and slipped a rocker and a ------ retainer slipped off. back to the drawing board. now i have to figure a way to get it back on without pulling the head./..

Compressed air+valve spring compressor=job done



But pulling a head on a boosted motor isnt a horrible idea. Nice fresh headgasket is always peace of mind and cheap.

aight.... finally got a chance to look at the car. the rod broke at the big end.... ummm. i guess the dirty B wasnt able to take the abuse.... lol. i will be dropping another LS to see how it does.. maybe i will leave it at 8psi.....

that sucks....

maybe the motor was just on its last leg...... its weird. the rod bearing still seems to be okay....just a snapped rod...

must oh had a bent rod? from a jdm cold air intake sucking up some water but not enough to blow the motor and bent a rod?
