blower is out of the question. the only concerns i have is that it is a mass air car and it also has all the smog pump bullshit that pumps air into the exhaust manifold. i hope when this is removed the car will still run normal.

On the mustangs, you can leave the smog pump on and it is fine. mass air works great for turbos. Try and find out what the compression ratio is. If it is not a premium only car it is likely to be 9:1 same as mustangs. I would give it a try with the turbo for sure. This will be a really cool project.

actually that was another concern, it is a premium only car. but, i dont plan on running any higher than 7psi or so, so it should be fine. i just found out that it has two seperate manifolds so i may try and use a couple of my ihi's laying around. .....

Premium only-yeah just be careful how much boost you run and what you are setting your timing at. Probably 10 to 1 compression on there. With LS1 camaros (also 10 something to 1) procharger kits are less than 10 psi.

i would need to move the mass air sensor to the intake on the turbo right? i've never really messed with a mass air car before. i've boosted a few honda's and i have stock turbo'd mx6 and caravan. i just wanna make sure i do it right. its gonna be ghetto but right hahahaha.

the incon twin turbo kits for ls-1s use garrett gt-35's runnin 5.5psi stock. if that jag has the much compression boosting over ten is kinda outta the question.

i know 10psi is outta the question. i said around 7 or so at most. looking at it today i think i can cut the flanges off the exhuast mani's, flip the exhaust manifolds upside down, reweld them, and use them as top mounts for my ihi's. that way i can keep all the smog pump ---- in place. this should work

You can run a MAF in either blow thru or draw thru mode. You just need to remember that once the air goes thru the maf, it has been measured. so if you put your bov after the maf, you need a way to dump the air back in. I run the maf blow thru mode for my TT 5.0. It works fine. You also need to make sure you have a run of like 7 to 9 inches of straight tubing before the MAF so the sensor part is not fooled by different speed air on one wall of the tubing. With blow thru, you can have your bovs right after the turbos and just vent em to air.
