Its a rally car, putting the intercooler in the front bumper is not the smartest thing to do when passing boulders, tree stumps.. etc.

i agree why would you put a front moutn on a rally car, obviously itll get smashed in the first 3 minutes and your out of boost and you lost the race.

This is my car. I slapped so HM-Hood vents on it to help venting/cooling. Mine never ran hot either, but heat kills. My hood is primered flat black and looks 100% better now, the pics were kinda in the middle of me making them. Once the hood is properly painted the same color as the car I'm going to post some more pics.

BTW "hotrex", I've taken steroids, and I'd still be taking steroids if they were free. And it is true that almost all pro athletes take roids, minus the Denver Broncos b/c Bill Phillips/EAS talked them out of roids and into creatine, hehahaha...

Ralley cars tend to "not smash into the bolders", and even when they do hit the boulders/cliffs/trees I really doubt they care about a $500 FMIC when they just totalled a million dollar car.... Its not like they use the same IC for a whole season either, maybe one weekend, then replace it...

Put the A6 cam's in the B2 head...I did it. And it feels alot more powerfull when in boost.
And you see the cam difference with the naked eye.
the A6 lobes have much more lift...don't know about the duration...I guess it would go up a bit to

Let me guess. You dont have a heatshield on your turbo mani right? Theres your answer. Mine did the same thing, when water would hit the hood steam would be coming off slowely. Then when I took the turbo off and put the stock mani back on without the shield it did the same thing. Then I put the heatshield back on and what do you know, no more steam. It's just because you dont have a heatshield anymore. Either do some vents (thats what I'm doing) or get a heatshield.

And hell yeah my mani used to glow red after a long term drive in boost. I rememeber one night when I popped the hood it was lighting up the whole engine bay. Looked like I had neons! Pimp
