Default It's about ------- time, Turbo dohc zc (56k ---- YOU!)

I have been collecting parts and reading alot and imagining alot about how this was going to work. Well i finally started the install today. i woke up and tried going to the liquor store but they were all closed, so i did the next best thing turbo my crx. This is not going to be some high HP drag machine it is simply going to be a fun daily driver. Anyways since reading sucks im going to just show the pictures of it. The turbo is a garrett t3 a/r.48 compressor and a/r.49 turbine. its from a nissan but i do not know which one. it should be a decent size for what im looking for
First i started by removing my radiator and everything so it can be nice and easy to install

i could not remove the bolts that held the header to the collector together so i ended up just removing the d/s motor mount and jacking up the engine so i can just pull the header through the front.

this is the turbo mounted up. I ended up removing the heat wrap because it got in the way of the manifold bolts

right now the only things i need to do is get a half rad, install down pipe, misc boost vacuum lines, hook up the oil drain line and coolant lines, and also put in the new dsm injectors. so far i have about $400 in this kit. I will keep updating as i go along

O.K. today i tapped the oil pan ultra ghetto i used a a h/f stepper drill bit and drilled the hole then i took a brass barb fitting and hammered it in there and j.b. welded the ---- out of it. tomorrow ill probably put more j.b. weld on it just to be sure i j.b. welded both inside and the outside. im going to paint it black but i didnt today
