internal wastegate

why does most people recomend, rather used external wastegate even for lower boost when the internal do the same job?

If heas saying what I think, People use external wastegates cuase like u said they are bettr for hi boost, and everyonr know , hi boost is addicting, so they know they will want to upgrade in the future and they will already have the wastegate needed

Re:internal wastegate

also lookit the placement of internal wastegate, the exhaust gases have to make a 90 degree angle and go through a pinner hole!

internals can cause serious boost creep also. not to mention all the extra crap hanging off the turbo! ;D

Re:internal wastegate

I know but I have to use one for now upgrade later, but I had a hard time fitting with the internal, had to cut the extra trimming off my radiator, and get a smaller fan, I have the option for external but its for one of those $500 plus wastegate 40mm 50mm square flange so I block it off.
