IMo it depends on what kind of set-up you are starting.
If you are going HF with a T25, well then go internal cuz you don't have a WG flange on the mani, and hte turbo comes with one. If you are going to drop some money on a custom mani, well then go external even if you don't use it, you can just block it off easily, you can't add one on as easily. |

Well, the 530hp Scooby on the front page of Japanese Performance magazine this month has an internal wastegate.
