i have an ls teg and im building a turbo kit for it. i have a t3turbo and a big IC with 3in inlet and outlets.

what size piping should i use 2in, 2.5in, 3in?

and why?

 

Depends on whp goals and all. Standard is something like 2" to IC then 2.5" to throttle body. The smaller diameter helps spool time on the hot side and the cold size is large enough to fit the TB's diameter.

Turbo --> IC --> TB
2" --> IC --> 2.5"

im just trying to make around 220hp

 

i would am for atleast 250 in a ls. that what i am aiming for just get a 3" to 2.5" and a 3" to 2" reducer

i dont think that it will add to the pressure drop if it is after the ic

 

I ordered a charge kit that only had 2.5" pipping, will this be fine for my beginners setup? I will upgrade engine/turbo in the future, this pipping should still be fine, right?

 

2.5" charge piping is as much as you will ever need, regardless of your goal

 

i have 2 1/2 charge piping on my crx with ls and t3 seems fine, but 2 1/4 or 2/12 should be fine i wouldnt go any bigger

 

is this the same speedy2000ls from Ti.net?

i have 2 to IC then 2.25 and TB and im happy.
