Default Intercooler piping routing, wrapping etc?

I am using a SAAB FMIC with both inlet and outlet on one side facing the radiator. I have it set up so that the piping will come out just to the left of my radiator. The inlet will be barely touching my radiator. Will a silicone coupler stand up to the heat, or should I wrap it with something? TY.

its not soo much a heat problem, but if they are rubbing on one another they are eventually gonna wear holes into eachother. Might have to reposition it

The silicone insulates adequately up to 300-350 degrees. Your radiator will never get that hot....

The aluminum-coated foam tape is a good idea for the piping in the engine bay. A lot of Saab guys do that.....
