installing turbo kit on 93 civic si

Re: installing turbo kit on 93 civic si
Step 1: Bolt turbo to manifold then to head.
Step 2: Run charge pipes, intercooler and BOV(run vacuum line for BOV also).
Step 3: Bolt down pipe to turbo and exhaust and hook up your O2 sensor.
Step 4: Run oil and antifreeze lines(can tap into any antifreeze line, most people use the one by the throttle body) as for oil line you can tab into the back of the block and the return line goes to the oil pan.
Step 5: Hook up missing-link if needed and install your bigger injectors.
Step 6: Hook up chipped ECU, or stand alone or FMU.
Step 7: Check over all the previous steps and anything you may have missed. Then you are done fire that bad boy up.

::Edit:: Next time look around a little and search because you'll get flamed like crazy here for something as simple as this. Good luck and have fun boosting.

Re: installing turbo kit on 93 civic si
Yeah I did click on the search button and searched for install of turbo kit. I am planning on piecing together one. I just wasn't sure about the oil lines and a few other things. Just wanted to make sure that I had everything covered. I mean I understand the basics about bolting up things and stuff like that. Just wanted a good write up with some pics. I have been reading on here like crazy. I mean I can bolt everything up just fine just mostly how to tap the block and read that the oil lines are hard to do.
thanks again

Re: installing turbo kit on 93 civic si
there is a "all u need to know about oil lines" but if u missed that
just buy a kit from stealth.....(all u need)
the t goes on the back of the block where the oil sensor is....u take it off and bolt up the blocfitting....on the top u put the sensor back on and on the other side u put your oil feed.....and u bolt the other part on to your turbo
on the bottom of the turbo u run your drain line (fatter one) to your oil pan,....which ur goin to have to tap
alot of people put some jb weld around the fitting and tap for sealing purposes....
anything else?
