Default installed inline resistors, now my car wont start!!!grrr

i was having trouble getting my ls-t to idle at any decently rich a/f ratio, so in the troubleshooting process, i got new inline resistors( to run my low impedance 550's) and installed them. well, long story short, my car wont start. my injectors open when i initially turn the key, car will start for less than 1 second then die, and i cant get it going again. i cranked it for a min and my plugs are dry (and i believe they should have assloads of gas on them from cranking 550s at wot).. management is uberdata, my numerical fuel values are dead on, and ive used different maps/chips and burners to no avail. anyone have ideas?

did you resize your fuel maps for the larger injectors?

Did you put the resistors on the correct wire? Were they 10 watt 10 ohm?

resistors are 10w 10 ohm. i wired them in correctly, as i did one injector at a time as to not mix them up, and i also double checked my service manual to make sure everything matches up and it does.

i thought it mmight have been my ecu, but i just tried a new one, and it did the same thing

car needs resistors. it has run in the past. motor is 97 b18b, car is a 97 hx, injectors are tuner toys low impedance 550's. i have also converted to obd1 injector plugs to accomodate the injectors.

That's Hilarious man, not to make fun of you but that's the EXACT problem I had. I have a 97 Dx w Ls/Vtec and 390cc DSM's and the car would crank and crank and crank and No fuel. It ended up being that just 1 of my resistors were bad! They were sittin in my local radio shack for 2yrs after all....?? And apparently if just 1 injector's is bad, then NONE of them work..... I just unwired the one injector clip(which By the Way I switched to OBD1 clips as too) and just running of 3 cylinders the car fired right up! Best of wishes man.... https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...?topic=42899.0

Do his injectors even need resistors though? They aren't DSM.

Yes because they are low impedence. Just use an ohm meter and check them.
