i got some inline wirewound resistors from radioshack cause i was there and they were like $2 anyways do these get hot? cause i was gona make a small box for them so it dont look as crappy with ---- hangin all over.

also which wire do they go on to the injectors on a d16y8 ?

 

I've never stuck my hand on them, so I dunno. Interesting Q.

They won't burn you to touch them, every time I see them they have black electrical tape wrapped around them that doesn't get melted or deformed. Feel free to see if + how warm they get compared to ambient engine bay temps.

Finding a box to stuff them into is a good idea... every inline resistor install I've ever seen looks like ***.

i soldered mine one per injector clip in line with the yellow black wire and wrapped them into black wire loom and zip tied the ends of the wire loom and it looks OEM.

 

UMMMMMM..... Keep in mind i'm a noobee... what's the purpose of the resistors on the injectors? What values?

I mounted 4 resistors into a ratshack aluminum project box. Worked fine for me. Just takes a little time.
