at least change intake manifold, car to multi-point fuel injection, and run some fuel management.

not being a jerk, but you should research stuff before you slap it on your car. :1

im surprised that toilet bowl Throttlebody/air box can even handle any boost.

it might not be desireable, but its still a motor. it costs money if you blow one up to buy a new one. plus, some people don't have the tools, room, etc to put a new one in...

Yes, it is.

I'm of the opinion that you either have the wastegate problem Whitey pointed out, or that substandard shitbox DPI "carb hat" is a big fat ------- leak.

Before you bother fixing it, spend a couple hours reading stickied threads in the Engine Management forum, and sifting through for items pertaining to your setup. Half of what you need to know is there.

Then, when you have a general idea, you can post up specific questions. Nobody minds tossing you a bone, but when it's like tossing a bone into the Grand Canyon, we waste our time and you still don't get what you need. When you post up another thread with your specific Q's... make sure you actually tell us details about your car. A couple lousy pictures with no technical meat = instant bad (or wrong or inability to give any) advice.

When you take your finger off, it should snap shut.

If the armature isn't adjusted correctly then it will open at any hint of positive boost pressure, and you won't get any more as your exhaust will be allowed to bypass the turbine effecting your spool. Other than that, the obvious question to ask would be- what turbo did you buy? What A/R is the exhaust housing, what size trim is the turbine, what size A/R is the compressor housing, what size trim is the compressor wheel. Not that the compressor wheel matters all that much as it is the lightest part of the assembly, but you could have easily bought too much turbo for your engine at this point.

Nothing says lack of spool like a "Stage 3" turbine with a TO4E 60 trim on a SOHC 1.6 engine of any sort.

For the rest of you who flamed, I bet half if not 3/4 would be just as lost with your own car had this happened to you.

HMT has a bunch of fucktards who don't know ----. A majority do, but alot don't. But it's so much easier to just flame when you have nothing to add, isn't it?

someone has had their period lately.

you should have suggested a rope.

Its clearly a manual by seeing the clutch slave resivor, keep in mind this is a 92+ civic so your not going to see a clutch cable. Very interesting setup, dpfi is odd in this chassis curious on what ecu is even driving that ****? Your really going to need some type of fuel management if you want it to even work correctly. The DPFI airbox is not exactly the greatest sealed unit, so besure to check there, check your wastegate actuator arm.

Your best bet would bet getting a D16z6 intake manifold, injectors, distributor, and I'd assume ECU as well? Your not going to see to many write ups for DPFI-MPFI on your car, but the 88-91 wiring should be very similar.

Oh, and I'm also looking at your breather hose, please tell me its not plumbed into the charge pipe or any vac right? I hope its just venting to atmopshere...

BTw, that oil return is way hot
