I have a 97 honda civic ex(sohc) and i'm thinking of buyng this stock turbo off of a 98 eclipse gst for $250 but that comes with the stock turbo and intercooler, what else will i need to buy? Is it going to work because i reallly won't be using it to race because it's a 4dr. but i love the way the turbo sounds and cops keep catching my stock engine on the highway for speding. so what else do i need to buy and will it fit. will i blow my "stock" engine once i get this turbo on?

You have a turbo and intercooler (you're getting ripped off by the way). Now, read the sticky at the top of the forum knowing that you have a turbocharger and intercooler.

 

wow! another great post! just like your first one in the tech section. this is so ------- stupid! you are not gonna race because its a 4 door? I didn't know you couldn't race sedans. Ever hear of a wrx or evo? And you want to put a turbo on just because you love the way it sounds? cops keep catching your stock engine on the highway? wtf!! A turbo will definitely help you then! You won't speed at all after your car is turbocharged!

$250 for the turbo and the intercooler, hotrex said it pretty good to, i wouldnt have paid more than $150 for that turbo/intercooler.
