Sup guys, I'm new here; kinda bored right now, felt like posting my current build.
So here it is Starter car is a 92 3000GT SL 5 speed https://www.homemadeturbo.com/attach...ine=1318299827 I bought it for 1200$, non running car was deliverd from Knoxville TN and i drove it around my parking lot the same day. No start problem was a simple Wiring problem. Owner put a 93 motor in a 92, and 92's use a Cam Angle Sensor, where as 93's use a Different form of CAS, along with a Crank Position Sensor. few wires, and some gas and the car fired right up. I later converted the car to just the normal Cam Angle sensor because running the 93 setup on a 92 car\ECU causes severe latency which is the time it takes for the sensor to send data to the ECU and the ECU make any adjustments needed basically....or something similar to that....it was robbing me of power regardless top end and was making power fall drastically at about 6,000 rpms. Car came with original motor which was blown, now is being rebuilt for turbo Anyways. Here's my specs and parts and what not. stock: 6g72 4 Bolt motor, DOHC 222hp N\A 10:1 compression Parts\modification to car now 3SX Short Shifter 3SX Soft Solid Driverside and Transmission Poly mounts 3SX Downpipe 3SX 3" Test Pipe Ignition Tune Intake Hard Pipe w\ Conefilter Plenum spacer\Heat sync (drastically lowers IATs hence the reason for cranking out some extra ignition timing) Electronic Suspension set on FULL TIME hard (500lbs) Slotted Rotors 17X9" Wheels Solid Shifter bushings Heres what to come Engine: 2 bold N\A 6G72 DOHC 3.0 w\ stock TT 91mm 8:1 Pistons Full Rebuild At stock Turbo Specs Avenger\Holly Plenum Ported Throttle Body Custom 3 Inch Exhaust w\ Stock fitment. or IPS 3 inch Single Shot Turbo: Hybrid Internally Gated TDO5H 25G for starters, may upgrade it to a TD06H Custom Manifold made by yours truly Stock TT Manifolds w\ custom fabricated pipe connecting the two, w\ DSM flange Large FMIC, have not decided on a specific one yet. 3.0inch in\out Custom Fab 3 inch Downpipe Stock 1G DSM BOV (my favorite blowoff valve) Tuning: Maf-Translator (Pro-SD) Innovative Wideband Boost Gauge IAT Gauge Innovative DB WIdeband Gauge Starting out on 360CC Injectors with turbo on Wastegate for boost.. will upgrade to 450's more then likely and higher boost will come. Suspension: Stock Shocks (Hard Mode) Ground Control Coilovers 3SX Camber Correction kit ST Sway Bars w\ Endlinks 3SX Control Arms 1G 3000GT AWD Knuckles Braking: 1G 3000GT VR4 Stock 4 Piston Calipers 10" rotors Drive-train: ACT Performance Street disk new 5 speed trans....possibility of 6 speed conversion swap.
