Quick, does anyone know what the difference(s) are between tubine housings on an IHI RHB-52, and a 51t21 (RHB61)? I'm needing a turbine housing for a t-bird RHB-52 unit I have, and there is an RHB61 about to end on ebay. If it will work, I will make a bid on it.

No, the turbine housings will not interchange between RHB5 and RHB6 series turbos. Turbine housings must be matched to a turbine wheel - if the turbine wheel is different (as in between the RHB5 and RHB6 series), then the housings will not interchange either.

 

Hey, thanks for the note. I didn't think so either, but just wanted to make sure. I've been told that the RHB5 and RHB52 are interchangeable though. Is this correct?
