IHI RHB5 Probe turbo...BAD for d15z1?
how much power do u think it would it give the z1? 160 whp at least? oh and set at 8 psi...i know these turbo spool up fast around 2500 close to 2000 and around 6....wouldnt that turbo suck on the highway with an d16z6 tranny?...what turbo would u reccomend if thats the case?

But it's small, and cant keep up at high R's. The sucky part is when you'll want a bigger turbo you'll have to start over with a new mani and dp, there are no good sized turbo's that share the same flanges.
well, 160whp on a z1 isnt that easy, and i will assure you on 8psi w/ that turbo you wont get there. stock whp for a z1 is around 68whp, add (at the most) 80whp, which wont happen because of the z1's teeny tiny intake ports and low revving engine, and you will end up w/ around 140whp, tq should be close or more than the whp though. i have a d15z1 w/ a .48/.42 T3 on 8psi and garentee its not close to 160whp. PM me for any info on boosting the z1, or just the vtec e in general.

either way, it doesnt matter, while cruising you wont hit boost, you will just hit full boost quicker w/ the ex trans, i know the vx trans at 60mph is like 2500rpm, whereas the ex at the same speed is around 700rpm higher.
