Default IHI question

hey how do you clock an IHI turbo so that the oil return is on the bottom?

anyone got anyideas on how to get it to turn? there was some surface rust/crap over it but I got that off yet it's still stuck.

It tool mine a few good wacks with the hammer to break it loose. Just leave the bolts kinda snug so you cant damage the turbine from the housing coming off sideways.

still won't move. I smacked the ---- out of it for awhile and it still didn't move.

PB blaster it for a day or 2... if that doesn't work the tourch is great just like any other rusted bolt

No, dont do that..

use heavy amounts of pb blaster,wd40 etc, mount the turbo in a vise, loosen the bolts and smack the backside of the compressor housing with a hammer. dont beat the living ---- out of it, but just keep tapping and it will break free.

a dead blow hammer if you're paranoid about breaking things. dunno how well it'd work tho, its like trying to nail a girl with her pants still on.
