If i know my turbo was from Probe/626/MX6/subaru etc.. can i order ......
Ok, i haven't found out but i think my turbo was from some subaru or probe/626/mx6 or something like that bullshit. anyways, i assume i can go to ford/mazda/subaru and order the 02 housing part right? i'm getting tired of finding one...

I'm assuming it's an IHI RHB5 right?
what kinda flange is on the exhaust housing? triangle or square? triangle is late 80s subaru, square is mazda/ford. Don't go to the dealer!! they'll probably charge $150 for the 02 housing. there are LOTS more sources than HMT check other boards...there are tons of MX6 boards etc.

lol you saying my triangle flange turbo is from late 80's?? hhaha how come it's like in better condition than most of the t-25 i see that are from 96-97
seriously, there's like no cracking in the wastegate flapper, no cracks anywhere, spins freely, like no shaft play

yeah the triangle ones are from 87-89. Nothing wrong with that! You should rebuild it before the install, chances are the seals are gonna leak and it's gonna suck oil through and blow it into your charge piping/intercooler. If that happens you gotta pull all that stuff off to get the oil out. It'll only cost around $50-$75 for the kit and can be done in an afternoon easily.

hmm rebuild.. well the guy said that it won't leak, and if it does, he'll replace it for free another turbo... i'm too cheap to rebuild and don't have the money now.. ok here are the pics and #'s.. please tell me what turbo is this from so i can either go to a dealer and buy this ---- or find it somewhere (highly doubt it)

ive got a 96 suby liberity turbo which is a triangle flange .Maybe the turbo was sourced of a wrecked car from japan.Why dont u get a 02 housing made shouldnt be to much and u can get a full 2.5inch made.

dunno man, i doubt my turbo is THAT old, things would start showing even if it's sand blasted, like the wastegate flapper i've seen on some of the turbos are cracked, the turbine housing hasn't been sand blasted and still with carbon and pretty good condition, i doubt 13+ years can make casting last that long.. i think mine's from a mid to late 90's car.. can't beat physics or chemistry, 13+ is a lot... check out those 14b from 1g, all of them are dying

what do you mean by saying that you're looking for an
"O2 Exhaust housing?".
Are you looking for the flange that'll weld onto your downpipe?
If so, then I know a place in Brampton that can make you a custom downpipe with a "O2 Housing flage" welded onto it
for around $200 CAD.
