Default identifying a turbo.

i just picked up a turbo.

its a garrett turbo.
.48/.49

it has to be off some oem car.

sorry but all i have are cell phone pics.
since im still new to this site...and new to turbos as well, i do NOT know what parts are what parts.

ok..i found out what turbo it is...but still need to find out what those "circled red" areas are

First one's oil return, second hole is for coolant, the tube is the oil feed.

there are 2 hardlines..

which one would be the oil feed?

and for the threaded hole for coolant, can i just plug em?

The one with hard line going to it is the oil feed. The first pic with the circles is the oil return.. And, Im pretty sure you can just plug the coolant lines. But having it watercooler is also a good idea. B/c supposedly it totally or almost totally eliminates the need for a turbo timer. But, Id run a turbo timer anyways..

i guess when you say going TO it...would mean that the firt hardline i posted would be feed.

so the hardline in the LAST picture is another coolant line?

it's a dsm/saab(same wheels different outlet/inlet on comp housing) t25

200hp turbo on a good day

Yup, and ***** seals and bearings like clockwork; especially if over-boosted which is like 10psi lol. Throw it out and go T3!
