The cats not clogged just replaced it. What the signs of a blown head gasket? There is no sweet smell coming from the exhaust like when coolant usually burns and no smoke. There also nothing leaking in the engine bay. I think it's that big ass EVO intercooler blocking 95% of the radiator that's doing it.

My car ran great sometimes, hot others. No loosing coolant. If there is a small leak, the cylinder pressure and such pushes into your water jackets super heating it.

No Loss coolant, No Smoke. Replace the HG and call it a day.

Replaced the thermostat already didn't help. He'll have to check the headgasket when he get's back.

ok well the car hasent overheated since i spaced out the back of the hood. But im at the beach right now and its alot cooler here! I will find out if it still overheats like crazy when i get back in town. My car still seams to run perfect?? Could the head gasket still be toast and run perfect?? Thanks!

yes, i had an accord that ran for over 1 1/2 years on a blown HG and actualy never overheated untill the rad was completely dry... it can easily run perfect and still be blown

I just got my turbo setup installed and running and noticed that my car runs really hot too. After about 15 minutes of even no boost driving the coolant temp is about 210 degrees and will creep up past that. I am running a stock CRX radiator w/ 2 10" slimline fans - one pushing and one pulling. It looks like there is some oil seeping between the head and the block

The other crap in the area was because there was no freaking o-ring on the distributor.
