I just picked up a DSM T25 from a local for 50 bucks. He said it worked fine when he pulled it to run a larger turbo (he did not know the milage because the turbo was allready replaced when he got the car). There's no damage to the compressor wheel, housing or turbine. There's just a tad of normal up and down play, but there is also a tad of in and out shaft play. Should I just go ahead and try it anyways? He claimed the turbo was'nt boosted over 12psi.

i don't think that would blow the engine, you just wouldn't get boost.
