Default I read above, but need help... B18c5 turbo setup

Alright, I have a USDM Integra Type-R motor swap in my current 99 civic hatch, and I wanna' turbo it soon. Iknow the motor ismade for N/A, high *** compression... What would you guys do and what would you pick for a pieced-out turbo kit? I've read and I've read, but I'd like to hear you guys opinions. Build up block then boost, leave block and low boost, etc. Currently it runs like 185whp with I/E/H/ and chipped obd1 ecu. I'm shooting for 250-300whp if I do boost. Leave it here, thanks...

Put together a decent kit with a decent turbo and run some decent boost, and you'll have some decent power.

If I were you I'd pull the motor and sell it. This would give you enough cash to buy a b18/b20 and piece together a nice turbo setup. In the end you would make more power and if you do blow the motor they're cheap anyways.

I honestly didn't mean to flame.

If you use a good sized turbo (t3/t4, some trim) with something other than a log manifold and tune it well, you'll be able too boost at least 8-10 pounds, and meet your horsepower goals.

thicker headgasket, SC61 (or simular), good tuning = 350whp and will run for a good while...at least enough for you to save up for some real pistons and some sleeves...

i know someone that ran 10-12psi (315whp) on a JDM B18C (11.0:1) for over 6months before he had any issues...issue was that 5th gear boosting to redline will own your ----...
