Default i need to find a JY wastegate actuator.

I have a TD04H that I need to find an actuator for. My engine is not build so I need something with a 6psi setting. I was wondering if there were any vehicles that come stock with these turbos and have their wastegate at 6. Thanks

all u have to do is cut the actuator arm. thread it and put a long nut on it and u can adjust your boost that way.

or you can just say to hell with it and use a carb spring like jeff did once. he has a pic

did the carb spring setup lead to a grenadation of the engine?

No, it doesnt, it actually can result in less pressure, you can set it anywhere you want 0-8psi, just depends on tension, and if it falls off, it goes back to 0.

14b wastegate should be the same as the td04 mitsu.. (not the greddy one though)

Thanks. How are carb springs measured, rated or Gauged? Basiclly, when I go to autozone tomorrow, do I ask for an adjustable carb spring, a 6lb carb spring or what. I know these people don't get paid enough to put up with stupid-asses; so I want to march in their with a little bit of lingo.

U gave a stock t3 wastegate actuator and arm lying around. I can sell that to you for pretty cheap...only thing is that it's set to around 11-12 or something like that. It's off an old merkur
