im running a vafc (i know i know, its going off in a few weeks but for now i need to fix this to get to work and back) with rc440s and i took it to a tuner to tune it, all he did was set -50 across the board and didnt touch timing, he put it on dyno and it produced a shitty 86kw atw... *** the power rating for now what im thinking is, he said timing is fine and he couldnt notice any pinging at all and its safe to drive

is he a moron? or is this an illusion of the vafc but secretly its rooting my motor up the *** (and how is it doing that?)

86kw is 115hp... is this some 1.4L euro D-series with an old-skool T2 on it? Or GT15 from a volvo?

Or is it just NA because you haven't even got the turbo yet? As far as safety, the timing will not be safe, as you'll be running at least 0.75-1.0 degree too much per additional psi. You can run a small td04 or t25 with this no prob if you keep boost low - but even a basemap will run better & be safer.
