You just spent 465 US on a used t3? That just doesn't seem right.... I'd have bought a nice new garrett for that price honestly.

if you can get one over here for that then I'll have ten please.

When we pay the equivalent of $7 for a gallon of regular fuel, the cost of that turbo is nothing really is it. I should sell up and move to america and live the life of a millionairre

Ya it would be nice. But I agree with the cost. Holding out could have gotten you something similar in either Re-built or MAYBE New condition. But it's your money and time. I would have bought it for myself, but it would have been too rich for my blood.

Also idt it really a .70A/R Compressor?

Shipping to the UK is nasty I have sent a couple turbos over there from ebay sales.Considering he wont have to shell out 100+ for shipping and pay customs then its not bad.

I was going to get a super 60 from westcoast but here is how it works

turbo $380

shipping $110

Total $490 = £290 + £10 (cost of using card overseas) + customs clearence £15 + customs tax 5% = £337.25 then add to that VAT at 17.5%

£396.20

I dont want to be spending that sort of money on a turbo, it went for good money because the escort cosworth owners want them as an upgrade for the later costworths which came with a t25. So i will be able to shift it on at a good price. Here is the problem, we dont have many turbo retailers over here and for a super 60 you are looking at over £1000 for a new one and on the used market there is not much other than SSAC ---- or Saab T3's

AND British food sucks! Except for high tea....

Seriously, that pretty much sucks. I woulda checked to see if you could have things shipped as "gifts" to get around certain import fees.

if it gets shipped as a gift and costs more than £18 you still have to pay tax, gay or what
