Default I got to ID this sucker

I have this turbo kit that I got from Ebay. I lost interest in it and I stashed it out in the garage. So, I've lost the information and I would like to see if someone can ID this sucker to see what I got.

Numbers, well in the Compresser it has .42 but the turbine I don't see and numbers. It says Airesearch, numbers are FA 1 M3 .36 063. That what I can make of it.

Yeah looks like a most likely a 48 turbine housing. It was probably off of a Volvo, I think they used those types of internal wastegates, correct me if I'm wrong.

it'S a old turbo from a mercedes. a very clean one!
The .36 a/r turbine and 45 trim compressor wheel make it too small for any decent power but it will match a T25.
one thing that is usually valuable on this turbo is the staqe 1½ turbine shaft but as the picture shows, it has been taken off and replaced by some smaller wheel !! picture shows a 1/8" gap all around the turbine wheel. that's not gonna help the efficiency of the turbo.

notice the WG.. it doesnt function. its the same WG and has the same flange I have on my turbo.
the same .42 is printed in the compressor housing.
and nothting is printed on the turbine housing.

I've asked the same question: Id myturbo?..
I got lots of replies. some said 42/48, a few 42/42 others said 36/42
I think that its also a 36/42.

it was comming from a WV golf GTD1.6 (in usa called a VW Rabbit i guess) and a Audi Quadro 1.6TD

First of all, thanks guys. I'm planing to use it on a 1997 Toyota RAV4 with the 3SFE. Street use, lets say, to and from campus. Is the WG non-funcionable? No problem, I already have a HKS BOV. Right now I'm writng this from campus. Once I get home tonight I'll post many pictures of what I got and what stage I'm in. Thanbks also to the sponsers of this forum. They are answering. They want to know what I want. Which is a Perfect Power SMT6. I'll post pictures of my RAV4. Clean, neat, and almost stock.

Thanks for your constructive criticism. What can I do to upgrade or fix this little instrument of power?

Can this WG be eliminated? I have a HKS BOV. Will this BOV substitute the WG?
