Hey guys i finaly got my car. i want to turbocharge it its got 127k on it. seems to run good. can you give me some info on how hard it is to turbo the da like any tricky area's ya i dont know to much yet but by this summer it should be turbo. i get my licence this summer. by the way its a 93 red ls 5spd. love it black interior clean as hell. da's are tight. oh and can i think i would want to use a 14b but can i get an exhaust manifold cheap for that turbo and i would like to retain a/c if posible florida.

i am in florida....it is soo dame cold now..i dont care about AC, but i know summer will be hot, just put the windows down and open the sunroof.

 

do a leak down test to see where your motors stands judging on that then boost......thats what i would do but thats just me and read the faq that will help you alot...

 

yea i have been readin alot over the past year decinding what car i wanted. but do you guys know any people that will build a monifold for a 14b exhaust housing. can anyone tell me all the stuff i need and like a estimate i am thinking fmu, charge pipes, turbo, exhasut manifold, and dp.

 

oh and where can i take it to get a leakdown test?

 

just buy a compression gauge thingy and use a bigger turbo that turbo is weak get a t3 or something

 

blunts right that turbo would be spooled at like 1500 rpm bad gas mileage and hard on the engine go t3.

 

i htink this is goin to be my manifold http://www.speed-factor.com/manifold...omanifolds.htm and get a t3 off ebay so is htier any used ones on production cars i could use i mean i dont have alot of money being in high school.
